The other day I read that the human eye can distinguish more shades of green than any other color. A trait that evolved to help our ancestors navigate forest environments. When we started our hike through the Quinault Rain Forest I decided to take photos of all the shades of green I could see. There were a LOT! Here is gallery of some of them. It is my way of paying attention and noticing through the lens.
